LFGPrivacy Policy
LFG - Learning Fighting Game ("LFG") is a math practice game for children, made by Space Inch, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information LFG collects, how we use it, and the choices parents and guardians have. It applies to the LFG apps for iPhone, iPad and Android and to lfgfighter.com.
The short version: Kids can play without an account, and their progress stays on the device. Only a parent or guardian can create an account. We don't show ads, we don't use third-party analytics or tracking, and we never sell information.
Information on the device
Without an account, LFG stores everything on the device only: player nicknames, game progress and learning records (which math facts a player has practiced and how they did), settings, and an optional parent PIN. The PIN is stored in scrambled (hashed) form and never leaves the device. We don't receive any of this information.
Information we collect with a grown-up account
A parent or guardian can create an account to back up players and use them on more than one device. Account screens sit behind a grown-up check. With an account, we store:
- The grown-up's email address and password. Passwords are stored hashed by our sign-in provider; we can't see them.
- If the grown-up chooses Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, the identifier and email address that service shares with us.
- Player nicknames, game saves and learning records for the players the grown-up chooses to back up.
- Friend features, if used: a player's friend username, friend requests, friends and blocks, and whether a player has chosen to show friends when they're online.
- Technical information needed to run the service securely, such as sign-in sessions and the IP address and device details that our hosting providers log.
We ask families to use nicknames rather than children's real names. LFG does not ask for a child's real name, email address, photo, voice, location or contacts, and it has no chat and no public profiles.
How we use information
- To save and restore game progress and keep devices in sync.
- To adapt practice to the math each player is learning.
- To run friend features and online status that the family turns on.
- To sign grown-ups in, send account emails (such as confirmation and password reset), answer support requests, and keep the service secure.
We don't use information for advertising, we don't build marketing profiles, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.
Notifications
If a grown-up allows it, LFG can show notifications on the device. These are scheduled by the app itself; we don't use a push-notification or marketing service.
Children's privacy
LFG is designed for children, and we follow the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws. We don't knowingly collect personal information from a child without a parent's consent. Accounts can only be created by a parent or guardian, and the grown-up decides which players are backed up and whether friend features are used. A parent can review, change or delete their child's information at any time (see "Your choices" below). If you believe a child has given us personal information without consent, email privacy@lfgfighter.com and we'll delete it.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run LFG, and only for that purpose:
- Supabase, which hosts our database and account sign-in (servers in the United States).
- Cloudflare, which hosts lfgfighter.com.
- Google or Apple, only if the grown-up chooses to sign in with them.
- Our email provider, to deliver account emails.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users. If LFG is ever transferred to a new owner, this policy will continue to apply to information collected under it.
Your choices
- Delete a player or an account in the app: Settings → Players & family → Grown-up account. Deleting an account permanently removes the account, its players, saves, learning records and friend connections, and revokes Sign in with Apple if it was used.
- Export a save from Settings → Players & family to keep your own copy.
- Email us at privacy@lfgfighter.com to review, correct or delete information, or to stop further collection.
How long we keep information
We keep account information until the account is deleted. When you delete an account, we remove it from our live systems right away. Copies in our providers' routine backups are deleted as those backups expire. Device-only information stays on the device until the app is deleted or its storage is cleared.
Security
Information travels over encrypted connections, and access to account data is limited to the account's own grown-up. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If a change affects how we use children's information, we'll ask for a parent's consent before it applies.
